Klymo Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Klymo ("Klymo," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, starting a lesson, or otherwise using Klymo (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Klymo. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Klymo only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (see our Privacy Policy).
2. The Service
Klymo is an educational product that helps League of Legends and Valorant players improve their in-game decision-making through multiple-choice "decision reps," a learning path, streaks, weekly leagues, and spaced review. Klymo is an independent study aid. Klymo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. "League of Legends" and "VALORANT" are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. Any game names, terms, and factual references are used for identification and educational commentary only.
We may change, add, or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3. Accounts
You may begin using Klymo without an account and later create one by signing in with a supported provider (for example, Google). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Free tier, subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Free tier. Klymo offers a free tier that includes at least the first section of content plus streaks, XP, and leagues, with no payment required. We may adjust what the free tier includes.
- Premium subscription. Premium unlocks additional content across both games. Current pricing is $4.99 per month or $36 per year (USD), shown at checkout and subject to change with notice.
- Free trial. Premium may be offered with a 7-day free trial. You must provide a valid payment method to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged the then-current price. We will send a reminder before the trial converts.
- Recurring billing and auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or the customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which you return to the free tier.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store full card details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the content except as allowed by these Terms; (c) reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service; (d) access the Service through automated means except as expressly permitted; (e) share, resell, or transfer your account or subscription; or (f) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, original artwork, explanations, question content, and the compilation of all of it, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial learning. All game names and marks referenced belong to their respective owners, including Riot Games, Inc.; we claim no rights in them and, as stated above, are not affiliated with them.
7. User submissions
If you submit content (for example, a report that a question "looks wrong"), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for what you submit.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Klymo is an educational aid; we do not guarantee any particular result, rank, or in-game outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, in-app or by email) and, where required, ask you to accept the updated Terms. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and Klymo agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.
